Günter Müller
Following David Moss, this percussionist from Munich based in Switzerland has been developping his interest from classical percussion to electronic circuits and miniaturized amplifications. His instrument has long been a set of drums connected to a pick-up and microphones, which would allow him to modulate his sounds live. He later added minidiscs and iPod players. After David Tudor and John Cage, Günter Müller enjoys playing on crackling sounds and hissings, on salvage materials, defective connections and underground vibrations. Since 1990 he has been running his own independent label, For4Ears records, and proposes many collaborations, either live or epistolary.
