Quoting alltogether Pierre Henry’s musique concrète, rockabilly one man show Hasil Adkins, pioneers of industrial music Suicide (Alan Vega and Martin Rev) and Einstürzende Neubauten, Finnish craftmen Mika Vainio and Ilpo Väisänen (Pan sonic) have been rambling for more than 10 years over the most incredible places on this planet in order to play a decidedly home made electronic music, a kind of metallurgical jewellery. The two proletarians of sinusoidal music are accompanied by a mecanic machine maker, Jari Lehtinen, author of Pan sonic’s famous analogical synthetizers, that look like sci-fi typewriters.
