Artist, co-founder and composer of avant-garde duo with Martin Rev Suicide in the 70’s, Alan Vega remains probably still today the only rockabilly singer who performs exclusively along with electronic musics. His voice, often compared with that of Presley Elvis, his swaying style and his controled spleen, plays all in contrasts with the sounds in which his songs evolve, made up of relentless, mechanical and minimalists rhythms as with the Finnish duo Pansonic, or in a unique new wave manner with percussionist Liz Lamere.
